Take it slow. What did I say? Take it slow
Sometimes you may meet someone and really truly click. And things are working out so wonderfully, and you feel like you’ve known them forever… remember to take it slow.
I was going through my calendar on I done this, a software that I email everyday to update what I’ve done in the day, and I realized that some of my closest friends… well I haven’t known them for that long. And although it may seem like I know everything about them, they could turn out to be psychos… take it slow.
I heard someone once say that before you try to marry someone at least spend a year getting to know them, so at least you know them in every season. Granted, knowing someone while you’re just friends is different from knowing them while you’re dating, and is different from knowing them while you’re married, since things change, but still… take it slow.
If it’s meant to be, it will work out. You don’t want to be too hasty. You don’t want to be too cautious, and take years to decide whether you will date someone, but you don’t want to jump into an engagement with them either and later find out that their baby momma still lives with them.
So if you want your relationship to work give it time, give yourselves time… take it slow.
Dear God
Please open our eyes to see, and our hearts to hear. Amen
I would like to hear from you: Talk to me.
