Make it work: No chemistry

Posted on February 7, 2013January 20, 2013

No chemistry: Chemistry has become a very interesting word in the last few years. We decide to get in a relationship or break up based solely on the “chemistry.” But can a relationship that has no “chemistry” work? It depends.

I have met guys that I was instantly attracted to them as soon as we met. I have met guys that I wasn’t attracted to them at first but as time went by, I was attracted to them based on their qualities.

I wouldn’t necessarily throw away a relationship based on physical attraction. Granted, physical attraction is very important, but I’m a firm believer that physical attraction can come if there is mutual respect, and there are good qualities in the individuals involved. Sometimes the relationships that don’t start out with blazing physical attraction are the best because there is maturity, and their love is given time to grow and bloom. And sometimes no chemistry means no chemistry.

So give yourself time to find out.

Dear God

Help us to grow in our love for one another. Amen

I would like to hear from you: Talk to me.
