We’ve all heard the bad break up stories. The ones that leave the individuals scarred for the rest of their lives.

When I hear about some breakups I think to myself that I will never date again. I wonder what could make a person so angry that they would slash someone’s tires, or bash the windows of their car, or go to their house with a gun to their head and threaten to kill themselves if they don’t get back together…
Perhaps it’s mental illness, but it could also just be that breakups are just so painful that you feel like you just cannot continue without them.
But babygirl you can’t make your decision based on other people’s experiences. Yes I will be the first to admit that breakups can be very painful because you may lose your best friend, and you may feel like you don’t have much going on in your life anymore, but feelings come and go, and feelings change all the time.
Someone once told me that you should never make major decisions when you are Tired, Hungry, Angry or Depressed. Because these are feelings that can change, and you will regret making those decisions later.
Please trust me when I say that the pain will subside. I promise it will.
There are many reasons that others don’t get over breakups, instead of holding on to a sour relationship because of that, we can learn to let go of sour relationships completely. We can learn from them in that way.
You’re worth it. I promise.
