Happy Democracy Day Nigeria!!!
I know we all have our criticism of politics in Nigeria.
I know we can all think of a million and one things that don’t work in Nigeria.
I know we can all talk about 3 million things that we can improve in Nigeria.
But we must remember that democracy is important.
We must remember that we can’t change people, but we can change ourselves.
We must remember that we are the key to improving things in Nigeria.
We must remember that it’s up to us to write books, write blogs, write novels, run for office, join the police force, join the army, work in government, become teachers, start businesses, become journalists… and whatever else is needed to make sure that this time next year, life in Nigeria will have improved, even if the improvement is not as big as you hoped..
So what are you going to do today??????
