There are so many things that people expect when they are offended. Some people expect their bosses to baby them, some expect their parents to give them everything they want, some expect their friends to always be on their side… truth is that’s not life… Here is what being offended Does NOT mean:
JUST BECAUSE YOU’RE OFFENDED-
- Doesn’t mean you’re right
- Doesn’t mean you’re wrong
- Doesn’t mean you deserve an apology
- Doesn’t mean you have to get an apology
- Doesn’t mean nobody cares about you
- Doesn’t mean life is cruel
- Doesn’t mean you are too fragile
- Doesn’t mean your life is over
- Doesn’t mean you have to keep a grudge
- Doesn’t mean the same thing will always offend you
- Doesn’t mean you can’t learn from the experience
- Doesn’t mean the offender doesn’t love you
- Doesn’t mean the friendship is over
- Doesn’t mean the offender purposely wants to hurt you
- Doesn’t mean you are owed anything
- Doesn’t mean…
I guess I could continue the list forever.
