Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. – Colossians 3:23-24
Anybody can throw things together and call it a meal. Anybody can do a job halfheartedly and get the minimum done while not satisfying anyone. Anybody can get married without doing any of the important little things to maintain the relationship…
But you are not just anybody…you’re not even just somebody…
You are God’s special person.
So next time when someone asks you to do something, think about how you would act if you were doing it for God (because you are). If you’re in a relationship, think about serving them how you would serve God. If you’re in a church, or working at a job, think about serving them how you would serve God.
Use a little finesse in whatever you do. Go that extra mile…and you will be surprised by how much favor you have from people.
which…let’s be real…may just lead you to that thing you’ve been praying about for so many years… you know the desire I’m talking about 😉
