BREAKUP LETTER

All I ever wanted was for you to see me, truly see me and tell me that you could never live this life without me. All I ever wanted was for you to tell me that you wanted me to spend the rest of your life with you. It wouldn’t have mattered where you went, it wouldn’t have mattered what you asked me to do, because all that mattered was that I would finally matter to you. But I guess it wasn’t meant to be…
Because here I am wondering what I could have done better, how I could have been better, what I could have said better… but it’s too late, and now all that you left behind is this gnawing pain in my chest…
