I’ve made a lot of mistakes in my life. Some of them no one will ever know about, some of them many people know about. The funny thing is that a lot of times when I’m about to make a mistake, or about to make a wrong decision, I know it.

Even though I often know I’m about to make a wrong decision, I still don’t make changes. Most of the time I only make changes when I feel so guilty and when I feel condemned. So that there are times I refuse to make changes no matter how wrong the thing may be, just because I don’t feel condemned (are you following me?).
Think about lying, for example, it’s easy to lie. And sometimes you can rationalize that no one will get hurt, and as long as you don’t get caught, you don’t feel the need to make corrections.
But the thing is that, we shouldn’t wait for guilt and condemnation to make us change. We shouldn’t base our decisions on feelings. We should focus, instead, on God’s love. If we truly knew how much God loved us, we would give up water if we thought it would make him happy. It is the goodness of God, our focus on the goodness of God, that should lead us to repentance.
So if you’re making wrong decisions today, and are waiting until you feel guilty or condemned before you stop, don’t wait any longer. See the devil comes to steal, kill and destroy, and every time we sin, we invite death in aspects of our lives, and we invite the devil to steal things from us that God has ordained for us.
Dwell on God’s love, and let His goodness and His word be the only thing that guides your decisions.
But you get to decide today who you will serve, what is your decision?
